Dead Straight Golf Middleweight Putter
Middleweight
This putter stands alone in its ability to roll the ball, align the putt, and its outstanding
forgiveness. According to Andrew Tarlow, the President of Swing Dynamics, a world renowned golf
equipment test facility, the roll characteristics of this putter are “as good as it gets!” Only
three putters in the world have ever gotten a perfect Putter Efficiency Index (PEI) score on his
putting robot and this is one of those putters. Andrew told me that he had to move the ball more
than ½ inch off center before he noticed any difference in the result of the putt. Now that’s
forgiving! Look at how naturally the alignment aid points to where the ball is going. On top of all
this, the Middleweight is unmatched in their versatility. The user can adjust the mass of the head
from 340 grams to 350 grams, to 360 grams, to 370 grams. In addition 90 grams of weight is added
inside the shaft under the hands. This helps balance and stabilize the putter for better feel, greater
stability, and more accurate putts. No other putter on the planet can do this! If you truly want to be
a better putter try a Dead Straight Putter today.

I always liked mallet putters but had some alignment difficulties at short to
medium distances and also didn’t like the look or feel of most mallet putters.
Part of what I don’t like about most putters is that there are so many things
to distract the eye visually; weights, cavities for weight distribution,
graphics, and strange shapes are some of the things that are way too visible. I
believe anything that doesn’t help to align the putt distracts you from
aligning the putt. I have made this putter elegantly simple and still made it
one of the most forgiving putters in golf by strategically removing weight from
some areas and adding it in others.
-
While this style of putter is not always naturally easy to align I have
improved on this and added an alignment aide in addition to the traditional
line in the center of the impact area. The grey area on top of the putter is
the same size as the diameter of a standard golf ball in addition to the
centered white line. This makes alignment extremely easy and allows you to
chose the method that works best for you.

Even the best golfers with the best equipment on occasion make a less than
perfect stroke. At such times this putter is well designed to minimize the
error introduced by the off center impact. With most of the mass of the putter
head outside the area directly behind the ball at impact there is tremendous
resistance to twisting helping to keep the putt on the intended line.
In addition the material removed has been removed from the bottom of the club.
This does two important things. First it raises the center of mass of the
putter head higher in the head, placing it closer to the center of mass of the
ball instead of being well below the center of mass of the ball as in most
putters. This helps promote a truer roll. Secondly it keeps the top of the
putter visually clean and simple with nothing to distract the eye from aligning
the putt. Once again, I believe anything visible that does not aid in alignment
distracts from it.

This putter has the ability to allow the golfer to adjust the weight and
balance to fit his or her putting stroke. You no longer have to look for a
putter close enough to what you want that you feel you’ll be able to live with
it, you can have exactly the feel you want. I’m sure you’ve all noticed that on
some days your putter feels just right and on other days it just doesn’t feel
good no matter what. With this putter you can adjust it easily on any given day
to what you feel it should be on that day.
With the “MIDDLEWEIGHT” you will receive 8 weights. Four
Aluminum weights and four Stainless Steel weights. Two large and two small of
each. With all aluminum weights the club weighs approximately 340 grams. With
the large aluminum weights and the smaller Stainless steel weights it weighs
approximately 350 grams. With the large Stainless steel and the Smaller
Aluminum weights it weighs approximately 360 grams. With all stainless Steel
weights it weighs approximately 370 grams. No other club affects your golf
score as much as your putter and the feel of the putter is key to scoring well.
No other putter can be customized to your feel like the “MIDDLEWEIGHT and
HEAVYWEIGHT” Putters by DEAD STRAIGHT GOLF.
